Personal Info/Bio
After attending Madera Elementary and Portola JH and ECHS, I left El Cerrito on the first day of my senior year, moving to Walnut Creek with my family. It was fun to meet up with old friends at the Merced Basketball Tournament a few months after that, with the Gauchos handily defeating my new team, the Las Lomas Knights. I went south to UCSB to major in Religious Studies, worked with youth for a decade after graduating, and then went off to seminary in New York City. I have been an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church for the past 24 years (my wife, Mary, is also a priest) and have served congregations in Huntington Beach, Lompoc, Pasadena, and San Diego. In August of 2012, I was called to the Episcopal Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in San Francisco - back home after 37 years of wandering the SoCal desert. I am looking forward to seeing long-lost friends at the 40th reunion.
