2023 update: After my ECHS graduation, I attended and graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1977 with a B.A. degree in Psychology. I met my wife, Susan in San Francisco at Bechtel Corporation where I worked as a corporate driver. We've been married since 1982; no children but lots of nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. Several years later, I worked as a library assistant for Alameda County and also earned a Master's in Library Science degree at San Jose State University. We moved up to the Pacific Northwest in 1992 after I obtained a youth services librarian position at Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon. We moved cross-country in 1999 to our current home in Manchester, Connecticut to be near to Susan's family. I started a new career as an information specialist for United Way of Connecticut.
I retired at the end of 2009 after a 20-year stretch (good timing; the Covid pandemic started three months later). I now volunteer part-time with AARP Connecticut in Hartford. Like many of you, we have traveled extensively. Our favorite vacations are ocean cruises which we've taken to Alaska, Canada, Bermuda, Mexico and the eastern, southern and western Caribbean countries. We also take car trips to northern New England and down through the east coast states. Take Care and enjoy the Reunion in October.
