It hit with profound sadness when news of the passing of Jon Stradford came out after a long illness. He was a good man and a friend to many fellow classmates. I had the pleasure of working with him over the years he was on the reunion committee. He was a kind soul and had a certain life’s wisdom about him. Jon was quiet yet seemed to know just when I needed a dose of that wisdom during planning meetings when an obstacle popped up. I’m a black & white logical thinker. I’m forever grateful for Jon’s help to navigate the gray areas, long after graduation, and for those bits of wisdom I still use today. He will be missed. Rest easy my friend, you earned it.
